Who Am I?

If you like my project, you might like to know who I am. Well, I'm an auti. What does "auti" mean? It means I have a form of autism. What's that? Autism means selfism. So my main focus is on myself, my own world, rather than other people's. That means I'm not so sociable. I don't pick up on social signals. I'm effectively deaf to them. This allows me to focus 100% on my studies. So I'm good at learning.

Selfistic people tend to be self-taught. They teach themselves whatever they want to learn. They don't really need teachers. Teachers and books help, of course. But autis mostly don't listen to them. They're too busy working it out for themselves, in their own way, rather than the standard way. CAB instead of ABC. That's why Hans Asperger called auti kids "little professors". Their own little worlds are like their own little labs of learning. As such, we often discover new ways of doing things.

Like normal, social folks, each auti is good at some things, rubbish at others. Autis tend to completely give up on things they're no good at, and focus fully on their favourite subjects. My main one has always been religion and mythology. As such, I'm a natural monk. A monk is someone who quits their social life in order to focus fully on the religious life.

As a self-taught person, no one has taught me how to be a monk. I've simply picked it up myself from reading books, watching films, and working it out. A monk's purpose is to try to live the most simple, natural, healthy way, then teach that way to others. A monk's teachings can help you find inner peace, health and happiness, even amid a busy social life. Some students, though, may wish to become monks themselves, quitting their social lives for a more intensive effort. I'm 37 now. I've been doing this a long time. I'm pretty good at it, so can teach others.

In the multiversity, I'd be part of the Temple Guild. The guild has six temples. The one I'd be part of is the Temple of the Way. You could call it the temple of religion. I prefer "the way" as all religions teach the same thing - the "way" to live correctly and go to heaven after.

I follow no specific religion, as I like them all. I've picked the best bits from all religions and made my own (it's just what autis tend to do). What do I call my new religion? The Way, of course! Really, it's just the latest, most updated version of religion in general. The Temple of the Way includes all religions. So your mosque or church can become your local Temple of the Way, and teach the path of Muhammad or Jesus, Buddha, Krishna or whoever. The one stipulation is religious tolerance and freedom. That means no putting other paths down, or forcing your path onto others. Just walk your path unobtrusively, "leaving your door open" to anyone who's interested.

Technically, all religions, including Christianity, Islam and Hinduism are "the way" or wayism, and their followers are wayists, because they all walk the holy way that leads to heaven. Calling each other wayists will help all religions feel united, rather than alien to each other. It reminds us we're all on our way to the same place - paradise!

The yinyang symbol shows two forces always at war, which is silly, coz each force has a seed of the other inside itself. So if one side wiped the other out, the seed would just grow into a new side, and the war would start all over again. The Way is the path that goes between and around both yin and yang. It is the path of peace, not war, which anyone can walk.

All wayist temples round the world will be part of the Global Wayist Union online. That means all are free to share ideas and visit each other's temples. Each local community gets to vote for the type of temple they want in their area. So if your area is 60% muslim, chances are, you'll vote for your local temple to be a mosque.

Muslims follow the Quran to the letter. That's fine. However, as part of the Union, under Multiversity Law, your mosque will be allowed, if it wants, to drop any parts you feel don't work for you, and adopt any good bits you like from other religions.

How will such decisions be made? Easy. Your mosque will simply hold weekly, monthly and yearly meetings, where every member gets to vote things in or out. Depending on the vote results, your mosque may stay strictly traditional, or become part Christian, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, a bit of everything, or something new. It's like going into an English shop and finding pineapples and bananas. Why would you only eat apples? Take the best of what the whole world has to offer, why don't you? The Union allows for total religious freedom and diversity. All religions are allowed, and each community chooses for itself, by vote, whether to stick to tradition, or make tweaks.

The other ten guilds will each have their own Global Unions too, for sharing and tweaking.

Like everyone else in multiversities, priests and monks will earn upto 8 credits a day for studying, practicing and teaching religion. The multiversity wage for all jobs is a credit an hour, with a max of 8 credits a day. That means any overtime will be done purely out of love for the job, not money. This helps keep everyone's earnings balanced.

When I was young, I just used to say whatever crossed my mind without a thought or care if it'd be deemed offensive or not. It's how I'd always spoken with my pals on the estate, so assumed it was ok to speak to anyone that way. Eminem spoke like it, and everyone loved him. So I spoke like it. Why wouldn't I?

Now I know you won't make any friends if you say bad stuff. To make friends, you gotta say nice things to them. So from now on, that's my plan. Nice words only. It's part of my religion. It's a teaching you can find in other religions too.

How about you? Are you in need of a friend or two? You could try this method too. If it works for me, it could work for you. So give it a whirl, why don't you?
